Facet: a Shopify theme for fashion and swimwear brands

Learn how the Facet Shopify theme is organized, where to change its settings and sections, and which guide to read for each part of your store.

Facet is a Shopify theme built on theme blocks. Every heading, text, button and picture inside a section is its own block, so you can add, remove and reorder content in the Theme Customizer without code. This guide walks through each area of the theme in the order you meet it when setting up a store.

Open the Theme Customizer

You change everything in Facet from the Shopify Theme Customizer.

1. Go to your themes

   In your Shopify admin, open Online Store, then Themes.

2. Customize Facet

   Next to Facet, click Customize.

3. Pick what to edit

   Use the Sections panel on the left to edit the page you are on, or open Theme settings to change store-wide styles such as colors, typography and buttons.

Work on a copy of your theme while you experiment. In Online Store, then Themes, open the … menu next to Facet and choose Duplicate. Publish the copy when you are happy with it.
